noun  (plural see·saws)
Definition:
 
1. playground toy: a playground toy in which two people sit at either end of a bar balanced in the middle and take turns riding up into the air

2. seesaw riding: the game of riding a seesaw

3. up-and-down movement: an up-and-down, back-and-forth, or otherwise alternating movement, e.g. in the popularity of one political party over another

1. ride seesaw: to ride up and down on a seesaw

2. move like seesaw: to move in an alternating fashion, especially back and forth or up and down
