Definition:
 
1. supply of goods available for sale: a supply of goods for sale, kept on the premises by a store or business

2. reserve of something: a supply held in reserve for future use

3. available amount of something: the amount of something such as a natural resource or a service available
an alarming fall in North Atlantic fish stocks

4. finance total shares issued: the total number of shares issued by a company or sector

5. finance investor's capital share: the share of capital held by an individual investor ( often used in the plural )
