noun  (plural sta·bles)
Definition:
 
1. building for horses: a building in which horses, and sometimes other large types of livestock, are kept

2. horses owned by somebody: the group of horses, especially racehorses, owned by one person or kept and trained at one establishment

3. people working in stable: the people who work in a stable, especially a training establishment for racehorses

4. group under management: a group of people managed by the same person or organization
