Definition:
 
1. spring-flowering garden plant: a common spring-blooming garden plant with rather woody erect stems. Flowers: fragrant, yellow, orange, or brownish, clustered at top of stem. Genera Cheiranthus, Erysimum.

2. plant with fragrant colorful flowers: a wild plant often found growing on walls, rocks, and cliffs. Flowers: fragrant, colorful. Native to: southern Europe.  Latin name Cheiranthus cheiri.

3. somebody unnoticed at social event: a shy or retiring person who remains unnoticed at social events, especially a woman without a dance partner ( informal )
