Word Usage
sociable or social?

Social is a neutral word that classifies a person or thing as being concerned in some way with society or its organization. A social club is a place provided for people to enjoy themselves, and a social worker is involved in providing a service for the welfare of a person or community. Sociable, by contrast, refers to a person's capacity to deal with other people in social contexts, so a sociable worker is a worker who enjoys the company of colleagues.
