1. city and port in western New York, south of Lake Ontario and northeast of Buffalo.
Population: 208,123 (2006).
2. city on the Zumbro River in southeastern Minnesota. It is the site of the Mayo Clinic, founded in 1914.
Population: 94,950 (2005 estimate).
