Definition:
 
1. transitive verb rescue somebody or something: to rescue somebody or something from harm or danger
The entire crew was saved.

2. transitive and intransitive verb accumulate money: to set aside money for later use, often adding to the sum periodically
She's saving for a new computer.

3. transitive verb conserve something: to avoid wasting something or using something unnecessarily
