Definition:
 
1. transitive and intransitive verb move smoothly: to move smoothly and easily and usually with a sliding motion, or make something move in this way
It slips easily in and out of its case.

2. transitive and intransitive verb put on or take off: to put something on or take something off quickly and easily, or be put on or taken off in this way

3. intransitive verb lose your footing: to lose your footing or grip on a slippery surface
I slipped and fell.

4. intransitive verb move from proper position: to slide or move accidentally out of the proper or desired position
