1. seat somebody elsewhere: to seat somebody in another place

2. seat somebody as before: to return somebody to the seat previously occupied

3. replace seats in building: to fit new seats in an auditorium or hall

4. put new material on seat: to replace the material on a seat

5. engineering replace valve seating: to return the seating of a valve to good condition
