Definition:
 
1. speech difficulty: a minor speech difficulty in which the sounds "s" and "z" are pronounced like the "th" sound. Small children whose front teeth have not come in yet often have a temporary lisp.

2. speech sound: the sound produced when "s" and "z" are pronounced like the soft "th" sound in "third" or "thick"
