Definition:
 
1. intransitive verb put off leaving: to delay leaving somewhere because of reluctance to go

2. intransitive verb wait around: to wait around or move around a place slowly and idly

3. intransitive verb be barely alive: to remain alive, although very weak, while gradually dying

4. intransitive verb take time to do something: to take longer than is usual to do something, e.g. to complete a task or look at somebody or something, usually because you are enjoying yourself
