Definition:
 
1. transitive verb pass tongue over something: to move the tongue across the surface of something, either to wet or clean it or as a way to move something into the mouth

2. transitive and intransitive verb brush against something: to touch or lightly move against something

3. transitive verb beat somebody: to give somebody a physical beating ( informal )
