leg [ leg ]


noun  (plural legs)
Definition:
 
1. lower limb: a limb that animals and people use for standing, walking, running, or jumping, either including or excluding the foot

2. supporting pole: a part of an object that looks like a human or animal lower limb and is used for support
a table leg

3. clothing for leg: the portion of a piece of clothing that covers all or part of the human leg
a pants leg

4. meat from animal's or fowl's leg: the meat, including the bone, from the back hindquarter of a four-legged mammal, or from the leg of a bird, that is cooked and eaten as food

5. branch of object: one of the extensions of a branched or jointed object

6. section of trip: a part of a trip that is separated from other parts by a period of rest or by a change in direction or the manner of travel
