1. handle something: to take action with regard to something or somebody, e.g. to solve a problem or to help somebody

2. be about something: to write or speak about something or to have something as the subject of written or spoken material
I was intending to deal with the Metaphysical poets in my next lecture.

3. treat somebody in particular way: to treat or behave toward somebody in a particular way, especially in a business context
