1. main U.K. right-wing political party: in the United Kingdom, the principal right-of-center political party. It supports low personal taxation, home ownership, and free-market principles. It was founded in the early 1830s as a successor to the Tory Party.

2. Canadian right-wing political party: in Canada, the Conservative Party of Canada, or, formerly, the Progressive Conservative Party
