Nu·rem·berg [ nrəm bùrg ] city in Bavaria, southern Germany. After 1933 the German Nazi Party held annual rallies in a stadium in the city, and in 1945 and 1946 it was the scene of Allied trials of German war criminals.
Population: 495,300 (2005 estimate).
