noun  (plural nom·i·na·tives)
Definition:
 
1. grammatical form: a grammatical form case of nouns and pronouns that identifies the subject of a sentence or clause. Other words, e.g. adjectives, may be in the nominative in agreement with a noun.

2. instance of nominative: a word or phrase in the nominative
