Definition:
 
1. transitive and intransitive verb change from solid to liquid state: to change a substance from a solid to a liquid state by heating it, or be changed in this way

2. transitive and intransitive verb dissolve: to dissolve something such as sugar in a liquid, or be dissolved in a liquid

3. intransitive verb disappear: to disappear gradually and inconspicuously

4. intransitive verb become merged: to change into, or blend with, something in such a way that the actual point of change or blending is almost imperceptible
