Definition:
 
1. chemistry substance such as air: a substance that is neither a solid nor a liquid at ordinary temperatures and has the ability to expand infinitely, e.g. air

2. automotive gasoline: gasoline for internal-combustion engines

3. energy geology fossil fuel: a combustible gaseous substance used as a fuel, e.g. natural gas or propane

4. automotive accelerator: the pedal used for accelerating a motor vehicle ( informal )
