Flor·i·da Keys [ flàwridə kz, flòrridə kz ] chain of islands and reefs in southern Florida, extending southwestward in an arc from the southern end of Biscayne Bay into the Gulf of Mexico. The islands, which include Key Largo and Key West, are connected by bridges and causeways and are a popular vacation destination.
