Eas·ton [ stən ]
1. town in east central Maryland, on the Delmarva Peninsula, west of the Choptank River. It is southeast of Annapolis across the Chesapeake Bay. Population: 13,954 (2006).
2. city in southeastern Massachusetts, directly southwest of Brockton and north of Taunton. Population: 23,028 (2005 estimate).
