Cen·tral A·mer·i·ca [ sèntrəl ə mérrikə ] the southern part of North America, extending from the southern border of Mexico to northwestern Colombia, South America. It includes the countries of Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama.
