Definition:
 
1. vr fail through overambition: to fail through trying to do something that is too ambitious

2. transitive and intransitive verb extend too far: to reach or extend too far or beyond something

3. transitive and intransitive verb defeat somebody by trickery: to get the better of somebody by trickery or deception

4. intransitive verb hurt one foot with another: to strike and injure the forefoot with the hind foot while moving forward ( refers to horses )
