Definition:
 
1. mathematics point of intersection: a point where lines meet or intersect in a diagram or graph

2. mathematics point where parts of curve intersect: in geometry, a place on a curve where it crosses itself

3. astronomy point where orbit intersects ecliptic: either of the two points where an orbit, e.g. that of a planet, crosses the ecliptic plane

4. anatomy lump or bulge: a lump, knob, knot, or other kind of swelling that sticks out

5. botany point on plant stem: the place on a plant stem where a leaf is attached or has been attached
