transitive and intransitive verb
Definition:

1. make or become sick: to have the unsettling feeling in the stomach that accompanies the urge to vomit, or make somebody have this feeling

2. disgust or become disgusted: to feel deep disgust, or make somebody feel deep disgust

nau·se·a·tion noun

Word Usage
Nauseated, nauseating, or nauseous?

If you feel sick, you are nauseated; some careful writers try to maintain the distinction between this and nauseous, even though many people do commonly use nauseous in the same sense. If you experience something sickening, that thing is nauseous or nauseating, as in a nauseous/nauseating odor in the barn.
