Definition:
 
1. leave somebody isolated: to leave somebody or something somewhere with no means of getting away

2. abandon somebody on island: to put somebody ashore on a lonely island or coast and leave him or her there with no means of escape

1. descendant of escaped slaves: a descendant of people escaped from slavery in Guyana and the remoter parts of the Caribbean

2. marooned person: somebody who has been marooned, especially on a desert island
