1. citrus fruit resembling small orange: a small citrus fruit, similar to a tangerine but with easily peelable yellow-orange skin. The segments are commonly sold as canned fruit.

2. small citrus tree: a small citrus tree that produces mandarins. Native to: China.  Latin name Citrus reticulata.
