Definition:
 
1. English part song: a song with parts for several usually unaccompanied voices that was popular in England in the 16th and 17th centuries

2. medieval Italian song: a secular Italian song of the 13th and 14th centuries, written for two or three unaccompanied voices singing in harmony

3. lyric poem: a short pastoral or love poem suitable for singing as a madrigal
