Definition:
 
1. reverse arrangement of something: to reverse the order, position, or arrangement of something

2. change something to opposite: to change something to its opposite or contrary

3. music alter position of notes: to change the position or arrangement of the musical notes in an interval, chord, or melody to produce inversion

4. chemistry change optical configuration: to convert an optically active isomer into an isomer with the opposite configuration

5. logic convert logical proposition: to negate both the subject and predicate of a logical proposition
