Definition:
 
1. put writing on something: to write, print, or engrave words or letters on a surface

2. write something on list: to add a name to a list or book

3. write dedication on something: to write a signed message to somebody in a book or on a photograph, often when presenting it as a gift

4. mathematics draw geometric figure within another: to draw a geometric figure within another so that all of the second figure lies within the first and touches it at as many points as possible
