noun  (plural glows)
Definition:
 
1. light from something hot: a light produced by something that has been heated to a high temperature but is not in flames
the glow of the embers in the grate

2. soft steady light: a soft steady light, especially one without heat or flames
the glow of the neon lights

3. soft reflected light: a soft warm reflected light
the golden glow of the tapestries on the far wall
