1. smoke or heat outlet: a shaft, tube, or pipe used as an outlet to carry smoke, gas, or heat, e.g. from a fireplace or furnace

2. music type of organ pipe: an organ pipe in which the sound is produced by passing air across an opening with a lip

3. music opening on organ pipe: the lipped opening on an organ pipe that initiates vibrations and sound when air passes across it
