Definition:
 
1. transitive and intransitive verb make something full or become full: to make a container full, or become full
The bathtub filled rapidly.

2. transitive verb take up all the space: to take up the space inside or cover the surface area of something
The room was filled with light.

3. transitive verb cover blank area: to cover a page or a blank space on a page with writing or drawing

4. transitive verb become abundant: to become present and very noticeable throughout something
