1. mistaken belief or idea: something that is believed to be true but is erroneous

2. logic invalid argument: an argument or reasoning in which the conclusion does not follow from the premises

3. logic logical error in argument: a mistake made in a line of reasoning that invalidates it

4. deceptiveness: the condition of being misleading or deceptive
