Definition:
 
1. organized trip by group: a trip made by a group of people for a particular purpose, e.g. to explore unknown territory, to do scientific study, or to achieve a military objective
a scientific expedition to the ocean floor

2. group taking part in expedition: a group of people who go on an expedition together
The expedition returned at the end of the month.

3. outing: a short outing, usually for a pleasurable purpose

4. promptness: speed, promptness, or efficiency in doing something
