Definition:
 
1. transitive and intransitive verb change liquid to vapor: to change a liquid into a vapor, usually by heating to below its boiling point, or change from a liquid to vapor in this way
The water evaporates, increasing the moisture in the air.

2. transitive verb remove liquid from something: to remove liquid from something, usually by heating, to produce a more concentrated or solid substance

3. intransitive verb vanish: to disappear gradually, or fade away to nothing

4. transitive verb physics deposit film: to deposit something such as a metal film on a surface through the condensation of a vaporized substance
