1. intransitive verb burst out: to burst out suddenly or violently
suddenly erupted into shouting

2. transitive and intransitive verb violently release material: to eject material such as gas, steam, ash, or lava, usually violently, from within
The volcano last erupted in 1935.

3. intransitive verb appear on skin: to appear as a rash or blemish on the skin or a mucous membrane

4. intransitive verb come through gum: to break through and emerge from a gum ( technical ) ( refers to growing teeth )
