Definition:
 
1. somebody who gives something: somebody who gives something, especially money

2. somebody giving blood or body organ: somebody who voluntarily gives blood, a body organ or tissue, or reproductive material for the medical treatment of somebody else

3. electronics impurity added to semiconductor: an impurity dopant such as arsenic or antimony that is added to a pure semiconductor material such as silicon in order to increase its conductivity by increasing the number of carriers of negative electrical charge free electrons

4. chemistry atom providing electrons for bond: an atom, molecule, or group that provides the pair of electrons necessary to form a chemical bond.
