Definition:
 
1. transitive verb make or become thinner: to make something thinner or weaker by adding water or another liquid, or to become thinner or weaker in this way

2. transitive and intransitive verb lessen strength: to reduce the strength or effect of something, or become reduced in strength or effect

3. transitive verb stock exchange reduce value of stock: to decrease the value of a stock by issuing additional shares
