1. academic administrator: a senior member of the academic staff of a university or college who manages the whole institution or a department, faculty, or group of students

2. college adviser or rule enforcer: a member of the academic staff of a university, college or, sometimes, high school, responsible for the counseling and welfare of students, and sometimes for discipline

3. senior cleric: a senior member of the clergy who holds an administrative position in a cathedral or collegiate church, or in a division in a diocese
