1. member of Native N American people: a member of a Native North American people who once lived in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida, and who now live mainly in central Oklahoma and southern Alabama. The Creek were one of the Five Civilized Nations who, under the Removal Act of 1830, were sent to live on reservations in Oklahoma.

2. Creek language: the Muskogean language of the Creek people. Native speakers: 50,000.
