Definition:
 
1. return march: a march, especially one undertaken by soldiers, back from a position following the same route as that taken on the outward march

2. change in marching direction: a marching maneuver in which soldiers change the direction they are marching in while retaining their positions within a formation

3. complete change of approach: a complete change in somebody's behavior or way of doing things

Definition:
 
1. transitive and intransitive verb march back: to return from a position by marching back along the same route, or make soldiers do this
