Definition:
 
1. long seat: a piece of upholstered furniture on which two or more people can sit side by side

2. doctor's long seat: a long seat with a headrest that a patient lies on when visiting a doctor, especially a psychiatrist

3. barley malting frame: a frame on which barley grain is spread during malting

4. first coat of paint: a layer of paint or varnish applied to a canvas as a first coat
