1. ever present: always present or available

1. something unchanging: an object, quality, or fact that is invariable or ever present
This preoccupation has become a constant in our daily lives.

2. mathematics quantity with fixed value: a mathematical quantity that retains a fixed value in any circumstances or throughout a particular set of calculations. Pi, the ratio of the circumference to the radius of any circle, is a constant.
