1. excessive traffic or people: a state of overcrowding in a street or other area, making movement slow or difficult

2. medicine excessive accumulation of fluid: the condition of having an excessive amount of blood or fluid accumulate in an organ or body part, as a result of disease or infection

3. comput having too much information to transfer: in computing, a situation in which the amount of information to be transferred is greater than the amount that the data communication path can carry
