1. publisher's emblem on book: the symbol or emblem that is printed on a book and represents a publisher or publisher's imprint

2. publication details in books: the details of the title, printer, publisher, and publication date given at the end of a book. Colophons are commonly found in early printed books and in modern private press editions.
