Definition:
 
1. hard-shelled fruit containing sweet juice: the fruit of the coconut palm, consisting of a hard fibrous husk around a single-seeded nut with firm white flesh that is eaten raw or dried to make copra and a hollow core containing sweet-tasting liquid coconut milk. Use: husk: matting, compost.

2. flesh of coconut fruit: the sweet white flesh of the coconut fruit, used widely in cooking and confectionery in the form of small dried flakes
