1. canceling of something: the canceling of something such as an appointment or order
We had a cancellation, so we can fit you in at two o'clock.
There is a cancellation charge if you withdraw your order.

2. thing made available: something that has become available because the person who reserved it has canceled, e.g. a seat in a theater

3. canceling mark: a mark that officially or legally invalidates something, especially a postage stamp
