Definition:
 
1. transportation waterway: an artificial waterway constructed for use by shipping, for irrigation, or for recreational use. A canal may take in parts of natural rivers along its course.

2. anatomy tube in body: a tube-shaped passage in the body, carrying air, liquids, or semisolid material

3. astronomy feature on Mars: an apparent surface marking on Mars, formerly thought to be part of a system of water channels, a view discredited by more recent data
