Definition:
 
1. tool with bristles attached to handle: an implement consisting of bristles, hair, or wire set into a handle, used for grooming the hair, painting, polishing, scrubbing, or sweeping

2. use of brush: the use of a brush, e.g. to groom the hair or to sweep a surface

3. light contact: a light stroke or momentary contact

4. short unpleasant encounter: a brief unpleasant encounter
a brush with evil

5. bushy tail of fox: a bushy tail, especially the tail of a fox as a hunting trophy
